For my birthday last year, I wanted to have brunch somewhere with a lovely view, and somehow ended up finding Rat’s Restaurant, which is in/beside Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey. Definitely a new favorite spot for a day trip outside the city. Most notable is the section around Rat’s, inspired by Monet’s town, Giverny.

Also, a couple photos of Mario Batali’s Babbo, where I really only got a shot of when we were leaving, and my birthday dessert (which was the bomb). Don’t ask me why. Guess this is what happens when you procrastinate too much on processing photos. Some of them get lost along the way. And then a few from Washington Park, where we ended the day. Yeah… this is clearly a part of my end-of-year photo dump series.
